Dr. Wilson was born in Chicago, IL, and grew up in Knoxville, TN. She attended Earlham College and earned a B.S. in Biology with college honors. She graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Wilson completed a Small Animal Internship at VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona.

She practiced medicine in Savannah for 1 year and in Atlanta for 7 years where she was voted one of Atlanta’s “Best Vets” by Atlanta Magazine.

She was finally able to return to the Lowcountry 6 years ago with her husband who grew up in this area. Dr. Wilson spends her free time enjoying the local beaches, going on nature walks, and watching movies with her husband, 2 daughters, and 4 dogs. She has a special interest in internal medicine, feline medicine, and dentistry.
